Katharina Elisabeth Gerhardt (born November 13, 1978, in Bonn as Katharina Elisabeth Beissel) is a German actress and model.
Katharina Elisabeth Gerhardt is the daughter of conductor Heribert Beissel; she initially worked successfully as a model and a contestant in beauty pageants. Among other titles, she was named Runner-up Miss North Rhine-Westphalia, Miss Baden-Württemberg, and Miss Berlin Film Festival. After beginning studies in physics and astronomy, she completed an acting program at the Fritz Kirchhoff Acting School "Der Kreis," graduating in 2003.
She made her film debut in 2004 in the comedy *7 Zwerge – Männer allein im Wald* (7 Dwarves – Men Alone in the Woods). Numerous roles in feature films and television productions followed, including *Hausmeister Krause*, *Tatort*, *Verbotene Liebe*, *Gute Zeiten, schlechte Zeiten*, and *Das Küstenrevier*. In 2024, she appeared in—among other projects—the film adaptation of Arthur Schnitzler's *Traumnovelle* (Dream Story) as well as the TV drama *Dreissig Jahre an der Peitsche* by Rosa von Praunheim. She also played a lead role in the series finale of *Stubbe – Von Fall zu Fall*.
Alongside her acting career, Gerhardt also works as a DJ. In 2022, she appeared on the cover of the German edition of *Playboy* and participated in an advertising campaign for the men's fragrance Dior Sauvage. She lives in Berlin.
